LTL Shipping Parameters & Carrier-Specific Quoting Information
Length
Up to 299". We can quote up to 192". If the pieces exceed that length, we can quote directly via email with ABF, SAIA, and XPO.
Width
Up to 96". If the length is less than the width, and the pieces can be rotated, then we can "quote" as LTL, but if one of those conditions is not met, then you need to contact our representative via email.
Height
Up to 103". If the pieces exceed that height, we can quote directly via email with ABF and SAIA. This applies for 1 piece only. In other words, we can't move pieces with heights totalling 103" stacked.
* If the piece exceeds 103" in height, we can ask to the customer if it is possible to lay down the piece and use the height as the length.
** If the piece exceeds 120" in height, we can use an opendeck trailer, we can tarp the load if needed, using 4',6',8' and 10' tarps, even for oversized loads. Our specialists can handle over dimensional frieght as LTL and PTL if having enough flexibility with shipping hours.
Weight
Max weight per piece is 8000 lb. It should normally be quoted as LTL, directly with ABF, ESTES, XPO, and SAIA.
But if the total weight exeeds 18000 lb. It will be quote as a PTL - Partial Truckload.
Loose Boxes
We can move up to 50 loose boxes usually with ABF and SAIA (we need to call first the origin and destination terminal as not all of them are willing to do it). We can also use conestogas to move LTL, PTL and FTL.
